Title:    Marketing & Digital Engagement Manager

Reports to:  Director of Marketing & Communications

Status: Full-time, exempt

Location:  Hybrid/Remote, proximity to Oxford, Ohio headquarters a plus (Cincinnati, OH; Dayton, OH, Indianapolis, IN)


Summary/Objective:

Phi Kappa Tau is seeking a Marketing & Digital Engagement Manager to drive consistent, high-quality execution across all communications channels.

This role is responsible for producing and publishing content across email, social, web, other digital channels, and print in alignment with the strategy and messaging direction set by the Director. The Manager ensures communications deliver on time, meet brand standards, and maintain a strong publishing cadence across channels.

This is an execution-focused role. Success requires creativity, production discipline, speed, and strong attention to detail.


Position Responsibilities:

Multi-Channel Execution

  • Build, format, schedule, and deploy weekly and campaign-based email communications
  • Execute daily social media publishing, including copy, scheduling, and asset coordination
  • Maintain and update website content, landing pages, event pages and campaign pages
  • Produce channel-specific content messaging frameworks
  • Ensure consistent cadence across digital channels

Campaign & Content Production

  • Convert campaign strategy and core messaging into channel-ready deliverables
  • Draft and adapt copy for social, email, and web based on approved narratives
  • Build and QA campaign assets prior to publication
  • Produce and distribute Sidelights monthly email newsletter
  • Manage multimedia content production (short-form video, event recap content, digital graphics) directly or through external vendors

Asset Management

  • Maintain asset libraries, brand files, templates, and style documentation
  • Ensure version control and organized digital storage systems

Vendor & Workflow Management

  • Manage day-to-day communication with designers, printers, video editors, and digital contractors
  • Track production timelines and ensure deadlines are met
  • Surface execution risks early and propose solutions
  • Monitor vendor output for quality and brand consistency

Events & Chapter Support

  • Capture and produce content from national and chapter events (photo, short-form video, recap posts)
  • Gather and curate stories and assets from chapters and volunteers
  • Build post-event content packages for email, social, and web
  • Produce recruitment and new campus proposals and materials 


Ownership

This role is directly accountable for:

  • Weekly email deployment
  • Social media publishing cadence and channel quality
  • Website updates and page maintenance
  • Campaign asset build-out and deployment
  • Multimedia and short-form video execution
  • Brand-compliant formatting and proofreading
  • Publishing calendar adherence


Experience & Background

We are seeking candidates who have operated in high-output environments where frequent publishing and campaign-based work are expected. Membership in Phi Kappa Tau is beneficial, though not required.

Strong candidates may come from:

  • High-volume content environments
  • Consumer or lifestyle brands
  • Retail or e-commerce organizations
  • Media or publishing teams
  • Digital marketing agencies

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • 3+ years of hands-on marketing or digital content execution
  • Direct ownership of social media channels)
  • Experience building and deploying email campaigns
  • Experience managing website content or CMS platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality work at consistent speed
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Candidates should provide links to social channels they have directly managed and email campaigns they have personally built and deployed.
